On the 13th afternoon (August) I flew from Moscow to Novosibirsk, back in central Russia, for my birthday celebration. I landed at 3.30 in the morning, having not had more than an hour of sleep, so I took some rest in the flat of Krishna Kaneya and Srimati, and then got up to chant the rest of my rounds and then go to the programme. Gurudev and His God-brother, Dhirasanta Prabhu, came from Vilnius to Moscow and spent a couple of hours at the flat of Doyal Caitanya Prabhu and Kamala Lochana mataji. Then they departed to Murmansk, the northern most ISKCON temple in the world. Read the rest of this entry »

My Godbrother Dhirashanta prabhu and I flew from Vilnius to Moscow early in the morning of August 2nd, following the Baltics Summer Festival, and then stayed the day at the house of Dayal Caitanya prabhu, Kamalalocana mataji, their daughter Karunamayi (who is also my Moscow secretary) and their son Harinamananda. That evening we drove back to the Vnukovo airport to fly to Murmansk, in the Arctic Circle, where ISKCON’s northernmost temple is located. Read the rest of this entry »

I was meant to leave Irkutsk on the 25th early morning, but when we got to the airport at 6am we found that because of fog the plane had been diverted to Ulan Ude, about 200kms away, and we would only be leaving around 11am. This meant that I would miss by flight to Lithuania, which was leaving Moscow at 11.40. Read the rest of this entry »
