Day 1, Monday, 17/09/07
We arrived at the airport early because of a miscommunication about Guru Maharaja’s arrival time. Bhaktin Narushni had brought Hemalata, and Bhakta Rakesh had brought Bhakta Bongani, so we formed a substantial welcoming committee. We waited for Guru Maharaja for about 45minutes but it seemed like an eternity, since I hadn’t seen Him in more than two months. The doors to the luggage claim area opened and closed, as people arrived and triggered off the sensor. This allowed me a few brief seconds to scour the area from my vantage point to see if Guru Maharaja had arrived yet.

Diary Dear devotees,
Please accept my blessings. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
I am writing to you from Dubai in the Middle East. The weather is perfect outside, although a little hot, at around 40 degrees Celsius, but it really makes a change from the miserable weather in Russia and Ukraine that I’ve been through for the last couple of weeks. Read the rest of this entry »

Diary Dear disciples and friends,
Please accept my blessings. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
I am writing to you from Murmansk, north of Moscow, in the Arctic Circle.
Materially it’s a rather forgotten place, and spiritually it’s a little like that also. There is a small temple here which once was a thriving centre, many years ago, but now it’s really very quiet. Even though ISKCON owns the property, and it’s completely paid for, and there is a community of maybe more than 100 devotees in the area, only about 10 or so have been coming for my programmes the last few days, and it’s not really so exciting. Diary This is a report from Caitanya Prema prabhu, who has been with me in East Siberia on and off for the last few weeks.
Dear devotees,
Please accept my most humble obeisance.
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
All glories to Guru Maharaj!
We have just finished the 3rd festival in Angarsk, which already became a traditional one. This happened again near one place in Eastern Siberia, named Irkutsk. Devotees from Irkustk and Angarsk tried their best to arrange everything in the very perfect way to satisfy devotees. They started their preparation works about half a year before the beginning of the festival. But then a surprising thing happened. Just two days before the actual start of the festival the administration requested devotees to leave the camp for the sake of some other people and so the devotees had to find some suitable place in extremely short terms. What to do?

So today is the most auspicious and wonderful occasion – the anniversary of appearance of Lord Balaramaa in this world. Sri Baladevji – ki jaya!!! Sri Sri Krishna Balaramaa – ki jaya!!! Yes, He is the most wonderful transcendental personality.
Krishna is svarat, He is independent, He is self-sufficient in and of Himself. He doesn’t need anyone to increase His pleasure, He doesn’t need any other thing to increase His pleasure. He is complete in Himself but still in order to increase His pleasure further He expands. He is complete already with His pleasure potency but He places that pleasure potency outside of Himself in the form of Srimati Radharani.
